The Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority (ABTA), in collaboration with the Antigua and Barbuda Airport Authority, launched for the second time the fast service "Love Lane" for couples traveling to the destination in the month of June, a month dedicated to to romance.
Thus, couples circulating through the "lane of love" upon arrival at VC Bird International Airport will go through the immigration process exclusively throughout the month.
The "Love Lane" experience will be available to couples traveling to Antigua and Barbuda with the aim of getting married, celebrating their honeymoon or enjoying a romantic getaway on its paradisiacal beaches.
From the ABTA they recommend couples to register for free before traveling through the link Romance Month "Love Lane" Registration Form 2023 (jotform.com). Those who do so will receive a digital electronic card that must be presented upon arrival to receive the service.
"Antigua and Barbuda continues to be the first choice for couples, especially after the success of last year's 'Romance Month'. We want all couples visiting the islands to feel the love from the moment they arrive in the country," he says. For her part, the Executive Director of the Airports Authority of Antigua and Barbuda, Euletta Francis, affirms "given the resounding success of the past year, we are pleased to partner with ABTA to raise awareness of the VC Bird International Airport and to welcome the couples looking for the romantic charm of our beautiful country”.
The month of romance is celebrated throughout the month of June each year and seeks to position Antigua and Barbuda as the first destination in the world to enjoy as a couple.
In June 2022 the "Love Lane" received more than 200 couples. This year the celebration of love will feature special promotions and a seminar will be held on the islands as a destination for romance aimed at the main markets. They also announced the launch of "Love in Paradise" couples magazine, and will launch "The Greatest Love Story" campaign in Barbuda.
