Volaris, the ultra-low-cost Mexican airline that operates in Mexico, the United States, Central and South America, today inaugurates its Guadalajara-Puerto Vallarta route, in the state of Jalisco, thereby consolidating its operation as one of the airlines with the greatest
connectivity to and from the state.
This route is crucial for the entity, since it connects the main destinations in Jalisco: its capital, one of the most important in the country, and one of the main beach destinations. “Jalisco has an unbeatable tourist offer and, at the same time, its geography facilitates the development of air connectivity to bring visitors closer to the greatest possible number of experiences. We are sure that this connection will be one of the favorites for national and foreign tourists”, mentioned Omar Carrera, commercial director of Volaris.
According to figures from Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacífico (GAP), the Guadalajara and Puerto Vallarta Airports reported traffic growth of 19.1% and 14.6%, respectively, in March 2023 compared to the same month in 2022.
