State authorities and the Aeroportuario del Pacífico group in the company of the President of the Tequila Regulatory Council inaugurated today the official stand of the 200 years of Jalisco as a Free and Sovereign State, at the Guadalajara International Airport.
"Express gratitude on behalf of Governor Enrique Alfaro, today's event is truly relevant, the opening of this stand that reflects with great intelligence, with great art, what Jalisco's symbolism is, now that we are celebrating 200 years as the first state that was born of the 32 that currently make up the Mexican Republic”, said the Secretary General of Government.
He added that only in 2022 there were 15 million 557 thousand travelers who traveled the corridors of the International Airport and that in 2023 it is expected to exceed that figure, so the exposure that is presented as of today is relevant.
“That is why Governor Alfaro is interested in that from today those who visit us see the symbolism that we represent because the airport is not only a space for connectivity but also a window for Mexico and the world,” he added.
For his part, Lic. Martín Pablo Zazueta, General Director of the Guadalajara International Airport said “For us it is an honor that the Airport is taken into account to bring an exhibition of 200 years and that above all we can show the more than 45 thousand passengers who pass daily and who will have the opportunity to take a photo and disseminate what is done in Jalisco, which in some way allows us to take that culture outside the State and the Country”.
The President of the Tequila Regulatory Council (CRT), Miguel Ángel Domínguez Morales, pointed out that "This exhibition could not miss the iconic product of our land, the Tequila that represents Jalisco around the world."
This commemorative space on the 200 years of Jalisco, is installed with the objective of observing and remembering the wealth of Jalisco, its people and traditions, as well as its contribution to the cultural heritage of Mexico.
