Once again, Marriott International proudly celebrates the LGBTQIA+ community in the Caribbean and Latin America, reinforcing its role as a leading player and advocate for diversity, equity and inclusion around the world. The company is pleased to celebrate Pride throughout the year, creating an inclusive environment where everyone feels comfortable. Recognizing the importance of creating welcoming and respectful places, Marriott is introducing a variety of unique activities and experiences available at properties throughout the region, inviting travelers to come together and celebrate this important cause. See below some actions that will take place in Brazil.
Marriott Sao Paulo Airport (attached photo)
The hotel will illuminate the façade throughout the month of June with the colors of the rainbow. The lobby will also feature a backdrop in the colors of the flag for guests to take pictures.
JW Marriott Hotel EN
The hotel will fly the Pride flag in front of the property during the month of June. Employees will also wear pride t-shirts and pins to support the cause. In the lobby, a rainbow-colored faucet will be placed and drinks with colored ice will be served.
JW Marriott Hotel Rio
The property will light up the façade in the colors of the rainbow, hand out colored candy to guests, and employees will wear a T-shirt in support of Pride month. At the front of the property, a rainbow backdrop will also be displayed for visitors to take pictures.
Renaissance SP Hotel (photo attached)
The hotel will illuminate the building and fly the pride flag in front of the property. The building and the flag will be raised throughout the month of June.
