Emirates to Host IATA 80th Annual General Meeting in Dubai

The International Air Transport Association (IATA) announced that Emirates will host the IATA 80th Annual General Meeting (AGM) and World Air Transport Summit in Dubai, United Arab Emirates from June 2-4, 2024.  

“We look forward to bringing the aviation industry together in Dubai for the 80th IATA AGM in 2024. Dubai is a dynamic city and a major aviation hub connecting the world. The UAE's positive approach to aviation has created a strong airline with a strong hub airport. Together, these make an enormously powerful and positive contribution to the UAE's society and economy. Holding the AGM in Dubai will be a showcase of what aviation can achieve with supportive government policies and decisions,” said Willie Walsh, IATA Director General.  

“Emirates is pleased to host the 80th IATA AGM and World Air Transport Summit. We look forward to welcoming all of our aviation industry colleagues to Dubai in 2024,” said Sir Tim Clark, Chairman of Emirates Airline.

The decision to host the 80th IATA AGM was made at the 79th AGM in Istanbul.  

This will be the first time that the United Arab Emirates and Dubai will host the global gathering of top aviation leaders.
