Volaris, the ultra-low-cost Mexican airline that operates in Mexico, the United States, Central and South America, announces the launch of its Annual Pass, with which travelers can enjoy unlimited flights a year on any direct route operated by the company.
The Annual Pass pre-sale will be available starting today, June 7, with a special introductory price of $3,999 pesos. As of August 16, customers who have purchased the Annual Pass will be able to enjoy direct flights paying only the taxes or charges that are applicable at the time of reservation.
This innovative product responds to a travel dynamic that has strengthened in recent years and that responds to the need to have viable options to fly at the last minute. With just one day in advance, customers who have the Annual Pass will be able to reserve and purchase single flights for national destinations, while for international destinations, they will be able to purchase their tickets up to three days in advance.
“We are very excited to launch such a disruptive travel product for the industry, especially when we have just launched 40 new routes that connect new destinations in Mexico and strengthen our goal of continuing to democratize the skies and to take more and more people who currently transported by bus, to experience the benefits of air transport. In addition to revolutionizing the way of traveling, with the Annual Pass, we seek to serve a new travel segment called digital nomads, retirees, and people looking for new options,” said Holger Blankenstein, Executive Vice President of Volaris.
"With the launch of the Annual Pass, Volaris once again proves itself to be one of the most innovative airlines in the world, simultaneously becoming the only airline to have three active subscription programs and the first to launch an 'all-you-can- fly' in Latin America. We are proud to be the providers behind these programs and have them as partners", concluded Iñaki Uriz, CEO of Caravelo.
