Sabre Corporation (NASDAQ: SABR), a leading provider of software and technology powering the global travel industry, and Aeroméxico, the flag carrier of Mexico, today announced that the airline's NDC content is now available through the distribution system (GDS) of Saber.

Aeroméxico is rolling out its NDC offers in different stages, starting in Mexico this month. Airline content is now available through Sabre's Offer and Order APIs, Sabre Red 360 agency booking solution, and Saber's GetThere online booking tool for Mexico-based travel agencies. Thousands of Sabre-connected agencies in more than 150 countries around the world are already buying, booking and servicing NDC content through the Sabre GDS.

“We are excited to take this next step in our NDC journey with Sabre as our trusted technology partner. Our collaboration has been very productive for both companies, and the launch of NDC through a globalizer is another example of the great work both teams have done to improve the customer experience and increase premium revenue. Aeroméxico's main objective is to provide its customers with the best omnichannel shopping experience when searching and buying our products and this implementation will undoubtedly help us strengthen our product distribution options”, said Rastislav Martos, Senior Vice President of Revenue Strategy, Distribution and Systems, Aeroméxico. “Sabre's Beyond NDC program allows us to consistently and efficiently deliver NDC content to travel sellers across all channels. We are very excited to offer these new features to our customers so that we can jointly maximize premium revenue and their experiences,” added Martos.

Sabre is the first GDS to distribute Aeroméxico's NDC content. Sabre's Beyond NDC program provides the technology infrastructure to expand airline order and offer-based selling to third-party travel sellers, such as travel agencies and online booking tools. By activating NDC through Sabre, travel sellers maintain their competitive advantage by maximizing access to Aeroméxico content.

“Sabre's association with Aeroméxico has been going on for more than 15 years. We have a shared commitment to advancing travel sales to improve the booking experience for travelers. NDC plays a key role in bringing this vision to life,” said Kathy Morgan, Vice President of Product Management - Distribution Experiences, Sabre Travel Solutions. “We are excited to help airlines evolve their approach to travel retail and help sellers of travel access real-time deals.”

Headquartered in Mexico City, Aeroméxico operates more than 550 daily flights to 89 domestic and international destinations, including destinations in Mexico, North America, Latin America, Europe and Asia.

As a founding member of the SkyTeam airline alliance, the airline offers customers flight options in 184 countries served by SkyTeam member airlines around the world.
