To make the most of this moment, Hilton recommends five key destinations and accommodations close to the meeting points of the parades and marches that will express the best of Pride.

Motto: 'The greatest pride in the world'

São Paulo Brazil:

The Gay Pride parade in Sao Paulo began in 1997 and had 2,000 participants. Today it is considered one of the largest in the world, with almost 5 million participants, and it is the second largest parade in the city. This year it was celebrated on June 11, although the activities began weeks before this date. The participants enjoyed plays, concerts, dance performances and much more.

A special activity for 2023 was the LGBT+ Diversity Cultural Fair, with spaces for gastronomy, crafts, workshops, art, and Pride-themed products.

Where to Stay?

The Canopy by Hilton Sao Paulo Jardins is located approximately 15 minutes from Avenida Paulista. For those who want to try authentic Brazilian flavors, the Stella restaurant mixes ingredients from local producers with modernity.

Motto: 'Freedom, justice and dignity'

Mexico City, Mexico:

With the purpose of remembering the fight for human rights for all, the march in Mexico City will take place on June 24. The first CDMX Gay Pride was in 1979, but now it is one of the biggest events in Latin America, second only to Sao Paulo. The celebration has been in honor of inclusion as a reality, of freedom and of promoting love for others in their individuality.

Where to Stay?

The march begins at the Angel of Independence monument, circulating along Paseo de la Reforma Avenue towards Juárez Avenue; It ends in the Zócalo of the capital. In order not to miss any detail, the Hilton Mexico City Reforma is located 2 km from Paseo de la Reforma. The hotel is also close to the historic center of Mexico City.

Motto: 'The birthplace of Pride'

New York, United States:

New York Pride will take place on June 25 in the heart of Manhattan. The celebration includes parties, cultural events, music, colorful floats and endless activities such as the Pride Fest, to celebrate equality; the Pride Island, which has the participation of various artists; and the Pride Tour, to learn more about the origin of Pride and its historical context.

From May 21 you can enjoy this package that includes a breakfast for two and a picnic with a blanket, a suitcase, snacks and wine. Lima Peru:

With community talents in music, dance and other arts, Peru will celebrate the Pride march on July 1. This date is associated with July 1, 1995, when 30 people attended the first LGBT demonstration in Lima. Then, in 2002, the first Pride march in Peru was formally organized and has been held annually ever since.

The march will be a space to demonstrate the protection of human rights, inclusion and respect for diversity.

Where to Stay?

The initial point of concentration for the parade will be Campo de Marte, to then tour La Peruanidad avenue. The Hilton Lima Miraflores, in the heart of Miraflores, stands out for combining traditional Peruvian architectural elements from the 18th century with contemporary decoration, creating the perfect environment to learn more about the country's culture.

The parade begins in the Council of Bogotá and culminates in Simón Bolívar Park. The Hilton Bogotá is located in one of the neighborhoods close to the Zona Rosa, one of the most prestigious neighborhoods in the city, as well as Zona G, which offers entertainment and restaurants.

The hotel is going to present a special event for this year, the LGBTQ+ small entrepreneurs fair, which will be held at the Sky15 Rooftop, to highlight support for the community, with support from the Chamber of Diversity.

Rio de Janeiro Brazil:

Starting in June and running through August, the Hilton Rio de Janeiro Copacabana and Hilton Barra Rio de Janeiro will celebrate Pride with a menu of specialty cocktails crafted by Rochelly Rangel, a black trans woman.
