Royal Caribbean redefines weekend getaways with Utopia of the Seas

The new Oasis Class ship will defy the rules of the game with 3 and 4 night getaways. Every getaway includes a stop at Perfect Day at CocoCay, Royal Caribbean's top-rated destination. Utopia will offer short vacations that never disappoint. 

Utopia will set sail beginning in July 2024 from Port Canaveral, Orlando, Florida, and will bring an unrivaled mix of weekend energy. Guests will find the perfect setting to celebrate any occasion and can choose from more than 40 ways to dine, drink and dance, plus pools ways to get excited and relax.

To all of the above are added the pools, slides, restaurants and beaches of Perfect Day at CocoCay, in the Bahamas, named the "Best Private Island" for three consecutive years.

Guests will be able to enjoy firsts and refreshed experiences such as the Pesky Parrot, a vibrant tiki bar; a one-of-a-kind immersive dining experience; the newest and longest dry slide at sea; resort-style pools, and much more will make this vacation the greatest weekend in the world. In addition, vacationers will be able to choose between starting the weekend on Friday or Monday. 

What's New Include:

Resort-style and beach-entry incline pools: Three pools and three Lime & Coconut bars are the center of the action. Vacationers can ride the high-speed slides at The Perfect Storm, while the little ones have fun at Splashaway Bay. Then they can enjoy snacks at a new food truck located next to the pool.

Giovanni's Italian Kitchen & Wine Bar and Gio's Terrazza: Now spanning two decks, the restaurant offers a reimagined menu of authentic Italian dishes, cocktails with a twist that extends to the new outdoor terrace overlooking the waterfront.

Izumi and Izumi in the Park: At its new Central Park location, Royal Caribbean's staple restaurant features a new counter serving fresh sushi and Japanese-inspired sweets. Next door is Izumi Restaurant, with twice as many teppanyaki tables and new outdoor seating.

Immersive Dining Experience: Combining multiple routes, technology, and different destinations and storylines, the new, one-of-a-kind experience is a locomotive journey that engages all the senses. The name and other details will be revealed later.

More than 20 different bars and entertainment venues: We up the ante to have the big celebrations and the best night out with two casinos that have more than 370 slot machines. A brand new Caribbean bar, Pesky Parrot, welcomes guests to the Royal Promenade, serving fruit-based cocktails alongside frozen drinks. In addition, five live music venues ranging from Spotlight Karaoke to Boleros Latin bar, Music Hall, to rock out to the best cover bands at sea; Bell & Barley, the English pub with a live guitarist; and the classic piano bar, Schooner Bar.

Reservations for Utopia of the Seas will be available from Friday June 23 on the Royal Caribbean website . Crown & Anchor Society loyalty program members will be able to book from June 22.
