Star Alliance: World's Best Airline Alliance at Skytrax 2023

Star Alliance has once again won the title of “World's Best Airline Alliance” at this year's prestigious Skytrax World Airline Awards. The Alliance's famed Los Angeles City Lounge has also maintained its position as the World's Best Airline Alliance Lounge for the seventh consecutive year. Star Alliance Director Theo Panagiotoulias accepted the awards at the ceremony held at the Paris Air Show . 

Enthusiastic, Mr. Panagiotoulias said: "Star Alliance offers a robust network and promises hassle-free travel. The Skytrax World Airline Awards are known as "the Oscars of the aviation industry" because they are selected through unbiased voting by international customers. In a survey conducted between September 2022 and March 2023, which represented passengers of more than 100 nationalities, 20.23 million votes were counted this year. In addition, the survey was conducted in six major international languages. 

Star Alliance has achieved numerous wins for the World's Best Airline Alliance award since it was included in the award categories in 2005.
