IFEMA MADRID continues to increase the number of confirmations of the main international congresses that will be held soon at its facilities. The latest to do so is the European Association of Hematology, EHA, which will hold its next congress from June 13 to 16, 2024 at the IFEMA MADRID Fairgrounds.
The large capacity of its facilities, which can accommodate thousands of people in the same place, as well as the versatility offered by IFEMA MADRID services, prepared ad hoc for each client and each case, make it one of the venues that hosts to more national public and international congresses in the world. This has already been demonstrated in recent years, with IFEMA MADRID winning the award for Best Convention Center in Europe, which has also endorsed Madrid's position as the best MICE destination in the world.
The IFEMA MADRID pavilions and auditoriums have hosted important events in the MICE sector this June, such as the 33rd SEMES National Congress of the Spanish Society of Emergency Medicine with nearly 2,000 participants for 3 consecutive days, or the annual meeting of the Therapy sector with Particles, the 61st Annual PTCOG Conference, with 2,000 attendees over a 5-day period. These are just a small example of the 10 major congresses held at IFEMA MADRID during the first half of the year.
But the best is yet to come. From October 19 to 24, ESMO Congress 2023 will occupy practically the entire IFEMA MADRID Fairgrounds, as well as the Municipal Palace. The most influential oncology platform for clinicians, researchers, patient advocates, journalists and representatives of the healthcare industry from around the world celebrates its annual meeting at IFEMA MADRID, with an expected attendance of 22,000 professionals from around the world.
