Every year it carries out the World's Best Awards survey, in which it asks its readers to rate their travel experiences in various cities considering criteria such as: tourist attractions, culture, gastronomy, friendliness of the hosts, purchases and costs.
This year, nearly 165,000 readers of the magazine filled out the survey, an increase of nearly 25% over pre-pandemic voting levels, and more than 685,000 votes were registered, identifying the best cities in South America. South, among which is Quito, located in fourth place.
Readers recognized the capital of Ecuador as one of the 10 best cities in the region for its delicious cuisine, the beauty of its churches and historic cathedrals, and the charm of its natural environment, above all, its proximity to the urban area. , from the Pichincha volcano.
