On July 1, the airline also enabled the possibility of traveling in Business Class on the Bogotá – Los Angeles route.

The airline pointed out that the decision to offer Business Class was made after listening, analyzing and addressing customer suggestions to improve their travel experience on some of the longest routes that the airline operates in the American continent. In addition, he explained that, with the exception of Los Angeles, the flights to the aforementioned destinations will have a combined operation on Boeing 787 and Airbus A320 aircraft, which is why he recommends that passengers identify at the time of purchase if the chosen flight offers size XXL, which is the one that corresponds to Business Class.

"Our customers have been asking us for this class for medium-haul routes and very much in line with the customization of our fares, today we are listening to them, we have made internal adjustments so that they can also buy and enjoy Business Class with all its benefits on our wide-body aircraft flights, if they require it on any of their flights to countries in the Americas," said Manuel Ambriz, Avianca's Chief Commercial Officer.

Passengers traveling on these routes in an economy cabin or on single-aisle aircraft will be able to access the sales menu that the airline offers with more than 40 available products from which they can choose.
