Cartagena: first in the ranking of most popular coastal cities in Kayak Travel Awards
The world's leading travel metasearch engine, KAYAK, returned with its annual KAYAK TRAVEL AWARDS in which Cartagena, as the historic capital of the Caribbean, received first place as the preferred coastal city of Colombians
The tourist offer that it offers in terms of culture, history, nature, sun and beach and gastronomy were decisive for Cartagena to be #1 in the searches of travelers through this platform.
The Kayak Travel Awards recognize brands in four categories, which are: airlines, hotels, car rentals and destinations in North America, Latin America, Europe, the Middle East and Africa, and Asia-Pacific.
The complete tourist offer that Cartagena offers in terms of culture, history, nature, sun and sand and gastronomy, made Colombians have Cartagena as their first option for their vacations, business trips, rest and well-being and that it was the number one coastal city in the searches of travelers through this platform.
The distinctions revealed this year the most sought-after coastal, national, and international destinations, based on the searches carried out on the KAYAK Colombia platforms, among which we find Madrid, as the most popular international destination; Bogotá, first place among national destinations, and Cartagena de Indias, the coastal city preferred by Colombians.
