Guanacaste Airport, a member of the VINCI Airports network, announces a strong increase in Delta Airlines operations for the high season starting in December.
Delta announces the route from the city of Los Angeles which will operate daily from December 22. According to the airline's itinerary, the estimated time of arrival at Guanacaste Airport (LIR) will be at 06:33 am and leaving for Los Angeles airport (LAX) at 08:03 am in a Boeing 737-900.
Delta will double the frequency from Atlanta International Airport (ATL) to two daily flights starting December 16. The estimated time of arrival in Guanacaste will be at 2:01 p.m. and you will take off at 3:31 p.m. in a Boeing 757.
Additionally, the route from Minneapolis (MSP) will return to Guanacaste Airport on December 17. It will have four weekly frequencies operating on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. Your arrival itinerary at LIR is at 1:35 p.m. and departing for MSP at 3:00 p.m. in a Boeing 737-800.
Figures from the Costa Rican Tourism Institute (ICT) reflect that the entry of tourists through Guanacaste Airport in the first semester of 2023 is 17.5% higher than the same period of 2022.
