Viva Aerobus released its financial and operational report corresponding to 2Q-2023. A 25.4% growth in total revenue stands out compared to 2Q-22, totaling $456 million dollars; as well as a net profit of 24 million dollars.

"We achieved strong double-digit revenue growth of 25.4%, reaching US$456 million in 2Q 2023, driven by a healthy demand environment, despite Mexico's Category 2 status. In the first half of 2023 , we surpassed 2019 total revenue, effectively leveraging our diversified revenue streams, including low fees of US$36.5 to stimulate demand, and our high ancillary revenue composition.As we launch new ancillary products, our new initiatives digital networks mature and our loyalty program "Doters" continues with outstanding growth, we expect greater benefits from our sources of income", explained Juan Carlos Zuazua, General Director of Viva Aerobus.
Increase in operating income. Total revenues totaled $456 million dollars, an increase of 25.4% compared to 2Q-22
EBITDAR positive. It added 147 million dollars. The EBITDAR margin grew significantly by 13.9 percentage points, reaching 32.3%
Solid net income. It exceeded $24 million dollars, with a margin of 5.3%
Increase in passengers. 6.1 million passengers booked with Viva this quarter, an increase of 18.7% vs. 2Q-22. The load factor was placed at 87.1%
