The organization of this initiative was run by the Paraguayan-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (AHK Paraguay) in collaboration with the National Secretariat of Tourism and the Ministry of Women, and the valuable support of German Cooperation, Sequa and Business Scouts for Development.

The 40-hour lecture course lasted 5 days and took place at the Excelsior Hotel, with the participation of 31 previously selected owners of Tourist Inns, and by SENATUR, the techniques of the Directorate of Tourist Services, María Caballero, Pamela Almada and Josefina Rodriguez.

The closing ceremony was attended by the Minister of Tourism, Sofía Montiel de Afara; the Minister for Women, Celina Lezcano; the general manager of the AHK, Daniel Delatreé; and the speaker Christian Abanto, representative of the Deuman company (Chile).

On the occasion, Minister Montiel stressed that the training is related to the knowledge that we must have of how to take care of our planet, our country, conserve nature, and contribute as a businesswoman and entrepreneur to slow down climate change. "The German Paraguayan Chamber has understood the importance of taking these aspects into account when linking services with care for the environment and with tourism, and we will work so that this pilot training plan, which began with selected inns, can reach everyone," he stressed.

The goal is to implement a green seal that encourages the country's Tourist Inns to comply with international medical standards, which will increase their competitiveness in the tourism market.

The Deuman International Consultant, was responsible for providing the training focused on the modules of composting, recycling, energy efficiency and use of renewable energy, small animal husbandry, sustainable fruit and vegetable crops for self-consumption and sewage collection system rain.
