Emirates' cabin crew team recently passed the milestone of reaching 20,000 members. This select group includes more than 300 Argentine nationals, who contribute their dedication and excellence to the service on board. This fact highlights the diversity and global reach of the airline, which continues to recruit talent in all parts of the world to sustain its projected growth trajectory.
Since 2022, the airline has hosted recruiting events in 340 cities on five continents, reflecting the diversity of its cabin crew and the destinations it serves.
Emirates' iconic, instantly recognizable cabin crew uniform has undergone four transformations in three decades, including a work by legendary Spanish designer Paco Rabanne in 1997. The airline has always maintained the iconic beige colour, and the subtle touches Modern uniforms have stayed true to the elegant and classic style that the uniform has echoed over the years.
Most crew members have long been part of the Emirates growth story: more than 4,000 crew members have between 5 and 9 years of service; about 3,000, between 10 and 14 years old; more than 1,500, between 15 and 19 years old; and some 400 have overcome the barrier of 20 years of service. Three crew members have been with the airline for more than 30 years.
Cabin crew members can be promoted to a higher cabin, become cabin supervisors or trainers. Currently, the airline has more than 1,100 flight attendants who have promoted from junior cabin crew, after successfully passing rigorous training and assessments.
