New creepy houses and slashing scare zones
Guests will begin their journey by venturing below the surface of the sea in the new "D3LER1UM666 Laboratories". Surrounded by the nearly endless depths below and the vast oceans beyond, watch the darkness envelop an inescapable research headquarters before time runs out. Transport to the arctic terrain in search of Frost, captured after her icy fame and frozen touch. Follow the smoke of Frost's fiery twin, Flame, into the new house, "BENEATH THE ICE - The Meltdown", soon to be the most gripping rescue attempt ever made. Once free, there is nowhere to run. Prepare to freeze or burn. Navigate gruesome alligators and ghoulish tombstones in the Louisiana swamp in “DEAD VINES: Nawlin's Nightmare.” The guests will invade Hex's hideout, feeling their wrath and wicked witchcraft as they evade the jaws of their hideous home. Alongside these new additions are the return of reimagined classics like "Captain's Revenge: Drowned in Darkness" and the fan-favorite "Blood Beckoning."
Guests can face their scariest fears and scariest ghosts in three new scare zones. Walk through a deadly dump of fear-hungry mutant creatures, humans, and even plants in the new "Toxic Turmoil." In the midst of chemical chaos, surprises await us: not everything is what it seems or what it was. If escaping the infection was easy, don't be fooled by the new "Bloody Light District", a district known to tempt the faint of heart. The beauty and attractiveness of its inhabitants are a curse that binds the victims with bond and blood. Rounding out the cauldron of chills is the opening of “Carn-EVIL Pier.” The fun turns to fright in the night cloud when the monsters, barkers and insane clowns welcome guests to the show. Step up, but the stakes are high! Joining these new nightmares are fan favorites “Portal of Passage,” “Frozen in Terror: Alive in the Ice,” “Witchcraft Bayou,” and “Terrors of the Deep.”
Returning Fan Favorite Shows & Bloody Bars With Scary Foods
The Howl-O-Scream experience wouldn't be complete without SeaWorld's dark, entertaining and high-energy shows like the haunting “Siren's Song”. Immerse yourself in the story of the iconic mermaids as they feast on the fears of even the most die-hard travelers. Guests can also be mesmerized by watching a fast-paced musical performance starring the one and only Jack the Ripper in the award-winning "Monster Stomp."
Howl-O-Scream's fantastical scares would be incomplete without its spectacular serving of bites and flights. The event's triple threat returns with the “Dockers Tavern,” where dockers are dying to entertain those who walk through their doors. A few scare zones away is the restoration of “Siren's Last Call”, a hideout for followers of the siren and home to the signature drink The Siren's Kiss. Alongside the specialty bars are scary food offerings like Vampire Burger, Bloody Rids, Dead Flesh, and The Ofrenda.
