With the aim of publicizing the Grande Hotel Canela as an option for couples looking for the Serra Gaúcha as a setting for their wedding, the development team participates in the event “Inesquecível Casamento Week” in Rio de Janeiro this week.
Starting this Tuesday (22nd), at the Vasa EXC Jockey Clube in Rio de Janeiro, IC Week runs until Thursday (24th) and seeks to connect wedding market professionals from all over Brazil and dialogue with the final consumer. Over the three days of the event, exhibitions, lectures, wedding dress shows, dialogue circles and tasting of cakes and drinks should take place.
The directors Paula Krause and Adriana Homem de Carvalho with the events coordinator Débora Barden participate in the event representing the Grande Hotel Canela, which will have a service space in the VIP lounge. “The Grande Hotel is already a reference in weddings in the region and being able to participate in an immersion of the market will certainly be very enriching. There will be days of much exchange, new knowledge and dissemination of our spaces to reinforce the Grande Hotel as an alternative for couples seeking the destination wedding option”, comments Paula Krause.
Adriana Homem de Carvalho, Tourism advisor at Fecomércio RJ, businesswoman and President of ABEOC RJ, emphasizes the importance of putting the hotel on the radar of major fairs and events. “Rio de Janeiro is a very remarkable showcase in the events business. IC Week is one of the biggest wedding fairs and placing the Grande Hotel in this environment is another step in favor of promoting the hotel interstate”, she says.
Over 100 years old, Grande Hotel Canela has six spaces for corporate and social events with capacity for up to 200 people, in addition to gardens and trails for dynamic activities and outdoor meetings. The hotel also has its own kitchen and pastry shop and a complete structure for events of different sizes.
