As of today, SKY became official as the airline of the Chilean Soccer Team. With this new alliance, the company,
with the newest fleet in South America, will be at the service of La Roja during the 2026 World Cup qualifiers and the 2024 Copa América.
The signing of the agreement was made between the CEO of SKY, José Ignacio Dougnac, and the president of the Chilean Football Federation, Pablo Milad. Likewise, it was attended by the technical director Eduardo Berizzo, as well as prominent ex-soccer players, other personalities from the sports world, companies, clients and collaborators of SKY.
“For us it is an honor to become the official airline of the Chilean National Team. This milestone responds to our vision of being closer to our passengers and, in this case, supporting the sports world. The passion, joy and enjoyment that La Roja arouses in people are sensations that we also aim at in our experience as a brand”, said Jose Ignacio Dougnac during the signing of the agreement.
For his part, Pablo Milad indicated “This agreement between La Roja and SKY is very important support for the work we are carrying out with the World Cup dream of 2026. SKY is a leading brand that trusts La Roja and together we want to add victories and joys with our national team, so we are very happy for this agreement”.
SKY unveiled La Roja's plane to all attendees and gave Milad a miniature replica, thus making official that SKY will make itself available to the different categories of the Chilean Soccer Team to accompany them in their matches until the year 2026.
The event took place at the airline's maintenance base located at the Santiago Airport, which was converted into a soccer field to support La Roja, as part of the launch of the sponsorship.
