Puerto Vallarta, the main sun and beach destination in Jalisco, had an excellent participation in the XXXIX Edition of the National Congress of the Meetings Industry (CNIR), in Saltillo, Coahuila, which brought together the entire value chain in order to professionalize the sector, generating spaces for agreement, training, business and relationships between suppliers and event organizers.
This edition was held from August 16 to 18, bringing together just over 600 professionals from the segment, who exchanged ideas and updated on market trends. Additionally, the chapters of the main industry associations such as MPI, PCMA and ICCA, as well as PCO and COMIR locally, were present.
The state of Jalisco had a large delegation, which included its two main destinations for the MICE segment, Puerto Vallarta and Guadalajara, as well as their respective convention centers, the Puerto Vallarta International Convention Center and Expo Guadalajara, representatives of the destination hotels and DMCs.
It should be noted that during the event an important alliance was made within the exhibition area with the global audiovisual company ENCORE, in order to jointly offer the first-rate services found in the destination.
