Successful closing of the 27th National Congress of Travel and Tourism Agencies 2023

There were around 550 businessmen who responded to the Association's call to deepen their knowledge in commercial effectiveness, user experience, regenerative tourism, strategic communication, technological trends such as artificial intelligence and digital marketing.

“The 27th National Congress of Travel and Tourism Agencies 2023 was an important opportunity for San Andrés, Providencia and Santa Catalina, so that the actors of the sector knew the wealth of the destination, and were part of one of the most important bets of the Association , as is training, facing the new market trends and competitiveness”, said Paula Cortés Calle, executive president of ANATO.

The event was held in San Andrés, Providencia and Santa Catalina, thanks to the interest of Everth Hawkins, governor of the destination, who informed the attendees of the initiatives that the archipelago has been developing for its recovery. There was also the participation of Germán Umaña, Minister of Commerce, Industry and Tourism; Arturo Bravo, Vice Minister of Tourism, with whom they had the opportunity to talk about the strategies that have been implemented for the promotion, consolidation and training of the sector; Carlos Eduardo Enríquez, Vice Minister of Transportation; who presented the expansion plans for airports, docks and other aspects related to transportation in tourism; and Sergio París Mendoza, director of Civil Aeronautics,
