With the purpose of responding to the most common queries made by tourists when visiting Costa Rica, making their vacation trip more pleasant, safe and easy, and providing first-hand information, the Costa Rican Tourism Institute (ICT) updated the digital version of 45 brochures from the Tourist Service Department.
As of September, national and foreign tourists will find updated materials in English and Spanish with information related to museums, agrotourism, adventure activities, turtle and bird watching, botanical gardens, spheres, crocodiles, and bus itineraries, to name a few. Some examples.
The update responds to the fact that the last readjustment of the material was carried out in 2019, prior to the pandemic by the ICT Tourist Service and can be downloaded for free on the official ICT website www.ict.go.cr at the "Services" section and in the "Brochures for Tourists" section.
“All the information is extremely useful, it is not the sale of a tourist tour, but reliable material that facilitates your stay and tour of the country. The update responds to queries made by them about the brochures that are on our website and is useful for national and foreign travelers," said Víctor Ramírez, head of the ICT Tourist Service.
The update of the 45 brochures began in January of this year, included research on each of the topics and tours to some of the places shown in the material. Among the novelties, a material on whale and manta ray watching was launched, one of the most booming activities in recent years.
Currently, the brochures are in digital version, however, they will be printed in small quantities and strictly necessary for the information office of the ICT central building, in La Uruca and to send to some regional offices, the above to be consistent with the approach sustainability of the institute.
