Chileans in Aruba
Aruba continues to be a very attractive destination for Chileans. So far in 2023, 4,688 Chilean travelers have arrived on the island, with a growth of 32.3% compared to 2022.
This year it is expected to reach 10,199 passengers and increase market share from 8% to 9.2%
Due to its good climate (360 days of sun), safety and wide range of activities and events all year round, Aruba has become one of the favorite destinations of Chileans. The island also has a first-class hotel infrastructure (around 13,000 rooms) and is accessible. This year Embassy Suites by Hilton opened its doors in Eagle Beach and the St. Regis Resort is expected to do so later, which will have 220 rooms and all the amenities of a 5-star luxury hotel, a Grand Iberostar and a Secrets.
“We receive more and more Chileans who choose Aruba for its tranquility, with the security standard of a European country. We have a very high level of reserves for the remainder of 2023, since the weather is always good: there is no rain, no hurricanes, no sargassum,” explains Álvaro Caballero.
