According to a Marriott International survey on travel trends in Latin America and the Caribbean, exploring the destination's gastronomic offerings is one of travelers' favorite activities.

A brunch that highlights the gastronomic scene of Panama  

Talento Panamá, the initiative promoted by JW Marriott Panamato highlight local talents, is back during Sunday brunch at Masi restaurant, located on the 14th floor of the hotel. In this 2023 edition, Talento Panamá will seek to give prominence to exponents of local gastronomy, stars of good cuisine; To do this, he will join forces with teachers, chefs and restaurants who stand out for their innovation and quality. The first date took place on August 6 and had as a guest Ceferino Luna, master cheesemaker at Quesos Chela, who prepared mozzarella live. The next edition will be on Sunday, September 17 starting at 12 pm, with chef Emiliano López from the Tapachula restaurant as the protagonist and who will lead a live station of signature tacos and Mexican specialties.
 
In addition to the proposal of live cooking and guest seasoning, during Talento Panamá the public can enjoy the wide variety of hot dishes, salad bar, desserts and drinks that characterize Masi restaurant's Sunday brunch, as well as live music . Discover a new menu in Panama City W Panama

's Moró restaurant launches its new menu by chef Bruno Bellocchio, which is available to the public from Tuesday to Saturday from 7 pm to 10 pm With an avant-garde proposal of international cuisine, the new menu compiles dishes of European, Asian and American origin and fuses them with the particular flavors and colors of Panamanian gastronomy, achieving a balance between foreign techniques and the best national ingredients, paying tribute to the melting pot of cultures that coexist in Panama.

In this way the public will find a wide variety of dishes with vegetarian alternatives. Some of the options are: Oysters Gratín with huancaína cream, crunchy cashew nuts and Cambembert cheese; Braised Short Rib with fresh gremolata, otoe mousse with crispy pork belly and sautéed mustard leaves, and the grilled beef filet accompanied by a thousand leaves of sweet potato and potatoes, glazed carrots, red onion hearts, a mousse of mushrooms and merlot reduction.

Delight yourself with the new flavors of Criollo  

Treating yourself to a getaway to the Pacific Riviera and enjoying high-level cuisine is an infallible plan. And if we add to this new dishes to taste, the experience is even more irresistible. The Criollo restaurant at The Buenaventura Golf & Beach Resort presents its new menu, a trip through the Pacific, the Highlands, traditional cuisine and the fusion of European dishes with Panamanian flavors. 

On the menu, diners will find a proposal of appetizers featuring ceviches, pot tamale croquette, new corn cream and national cheese, and the inevitable sancocho. Also salads based on fresh products, such as Cerro Punta tomatoes.

The main dishes are as varied as they are unique, from chicken in fig sauce, Bocatoreño prawns accompanied by rice with pigeon pea and slices, charcoal-grilled octopus, lamb ribs and lobster, to Ensenada de Buenaventura, a dish recommended by the chef. La Ensenada is the story of Buenaventura on a plate: it is composed of a beef tenderloin topped with two prawns and accompanied by cassava puree, which represents the best of the farm and the sea that Panama has for its diners. 

The menu is available to guests and the general public every day during dinner hours.

Journey of flavors and a cheese feast

The Santa María, a Luxury Collection Hotel & Golf Resort brings two new proposals for September. On the one hand, in its restaurant The Grill House, it launches the Sabores de Valencia menu, a trip through this Mediterranean city, through which the public will be able to taste a variety of tapas, Valencian salad, selection of paellas – from Valencian, black rice , fideua, mixed, with vegetables and rice a banda–, dessert and sangrias. Flavors of Valencia is available to guests and the general public every Tuesday in September from 6 pm to 10 pm

On the other hand, cheese lovers will have an appointment at the Cheese Market at the Mestizo restaurant. There you will find a variety of cheeses from Asiago pressato, burrata, camerano, fontal fiorella, sheep truffle, among many other options, to put together your own cheese board and combine it with the wine of your choice. The Cheese Market will be available starting the last week of September from 6 pm to 10 pm
