Air Europa continues strengthening its commitment to connectivity on both sides of the
Atlantic. This year, the airline will increase its offer of seats in the Americas to nearly 3 million - 13.3% more than in
2022. This significant growth is backed by a greater number of frequencies to some of its destinations in the continent,
as well as a significant reinforcement to face the upcoming Christmas and New Year's Eve campaign with guarantees.
Venezuela (+79.9%), Colombia (+35.3%), and Panama (+32.4%) are among the destinations that will see a greater
percentage growth in the number of seats on offer. This increase in demand throughout 2023 has also benefited from
the completion of the fleet unification and expansion process, with the Boeing 787 Dreamliner as the aircraft for longhaul flights. This has made it possible to significantly expand seating capacity, as well as to operate more efficiently and comfortably.
In view of the good market performance, Air Europa will raise its flight frequencies to nine of its destinations as of
December. On a regular basis, it will reach six weekly frequencies to Panama and Medellin, and five weekly frequencies
to Quito, Guayaquil, Asuncion, and Caracas. It will also add a sixth connection to Asuncion shortly between December
and January. Also, it will open a fifth weekly frequency to the United States (New York), and to Santa Cruz de la Sierra
in Bolivia, and will activate a third connection to Salvador de Bahía, in Brazil, to respond to the end-of-year holiday
demand.
"With this increase in frequencies, Air Europa is once again proving that it is one of the most important players in the
connection between Europe and America. Our customers choose the company's proposal for the combination of service
quality and performance of our fleet, both for those who travel for business reasons and for those who travel for tourism or to visit family or friends, seeking to do so in the fastest, most comfortable, safest, and most efficient way," said Diego García, General Manager of Air Europa in the Americas Region.
Thanks to this increase in seats, Air Europa continues to consolidate its key role as a strategic airline in the connectivity
between Europe and the Americas, with a prominent presence at the Madrid-Barajas airport hub.
