Madrid Turismo by IFEMA Madrid has named today, in an event held at the Santoña Palace, the first International Ambassadors of this joint project of the Community of Madrid, the Madrid City Council and IFEMA Madrid.
Actress Cho Yeo-Jeong, known for her roles in the films Parasites, The Servant and The Concubine; actress Kim Joo-Ryung, famous for her role in The Squid Game; actor, model and singer Jeon Changa, Boss global brand ambassador and MAC model; and the fashion designer Danha, known for being the creator of the wardrobe of the k-pop group BlackPink, have been named Ambassadors of Madrid Tourism, with which they will contribute to promoting Madrid in its area of influence, highlighting its lifestyle, gastronomy, offer cultural and leisure, and heritage wealth. They have been able to learn about these and other aspects during their visit to Madrid, in which they have seen emblematic places and visited important landmark squares in the capital, also coinciding with the celebration of the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid catwalk.
During the event, the Ambassadors received, from the hands of Daniel Martínez, Deputy Minister of Culture, Tourism and Sports of the Community of Madrid; Héctor Coronel, director of Tourism of the Madrid City Council; Alejandro Halffter, general secretary of the Madrid Chamber of Commerce, and Juan Arrizabalaga, general director of IFEMA MADRID, a traditional Spanish cape designed especially for the occasion by the OTEYZA firm.
The delivery ceremony was led by Yolanda Perdomo, director of Madrid Turismo by IFEMA Madrid, and Lara Benito - known as Lara in Korea -, singer, model and actress of Madrid origin, famous in South Korea for her great television appearance.

Cho Yeo-Jeong is a South Korean actress known primarily in South Korean cinema for her leading roles in the period films The Servant (2010) and The Concubine (2012), as well as starring in the television series I Need Romance (2011). In 2019, she joined the leading cast of the film Parasites, winner of several Oscars and the famous Screen Actors Guild award (SAG award) among others.
Kim Joo-Ryung is a South Korean actress, famous for her role in The Squid Game. She is also the winner of the 2021 Asia Artist Award in the Best Actress category.
Jeon Changha is a Korean actor and singer, official ambassador of the Boss brand worldwide and model for the MAC brand. He has almost 30 million followers and is well known for the content he shares on his social networks.
Danha is a fashion designer known for designing the outfits of the world-famous K-pop group Blackpink. She has also participated in Paris Fashion Week.
