The hotel presented a sample of services through a tour open to the general public and with themed spaces, makeup proposals, DJs, sound and animation, floral arrangements, show and entertainment options, catering with different themes such as wedding cake, 15th birthday cake, among others.
The open-door event at the NH Collection Centro Histérico hotel had great attractions: themed tables, actors who made spontaneous interventions with the public. For example, Marilyn Monroe greeted diners; Micky and Minnie Mouse danced at the close of the event to the tune of “an ideal world” from Aladdin, among many other surprises that happened during the night.
In the Presidential Suite was the Haute Couture designer, Verónica De La Canal, who invited those present to live the experience of the wedding preparations with everything that entails: makeup, hairstyle, arrangement of the headdress, details of the dress , photos with the bridesmaids until the final toast before going to the ceremony. Finally, Verónica and all the models went down to the Gaudí room where they held a parade that included party dress proposals and a special design for the bride.
“The public participation was wonderful. They were able to experience the hotel's services, the capacity of its rooms, the quality of the cuisine prepared by Martin Jatip, the hotel's executive chef, and his team. In addition, our clients were able to find that inspiration whether for weddings, 15th birthdays, or corporate events. All our suppliers were fascinated and they shined with their staging,” says Marcela Neira, general director of the hotel.
On this occasion, clients were able to interact with the hotel staff and meet the experts behind the events. “We have a wide variety of collaborators distributed in different rooms, terraces and suites: it was a unique opportunity to start designing that great dream event. We loved opening the doors of our hotel and inviting you to discover the magic of the spaces, the versatility of our rooms, added to the seal of quality in service provided by a global brand such as the NH Collection,” commented Diego Chourrout, general director of Minor Hotels, Southern Cone.
Social events come with a significant upward trend, as do corporate events. “In the Latin American region we have more than 35,572m2 dedicated to these meetings (8,476m2 of them outdoors) distributed in 302 rooms and spaces in its hotels located in Mexico and Cuba, Colombia and Ecuador, Argentina and Chile,” he comments. Diego Chourrout, and added, “we have rooms for hundreds of people or private meeting rooms, restaurants, spaces around swimming pools, gardens and terraces with views of the city. The idea is to deliver a turnkey event and trust in the know-how and quality guarantee in both the product and the service offered by the company.
