Antigua and Barbuda promoted its destination at SOTIC 2023 in Turks and Caicos Islands

The tourism authority of Antigua and Barbuda was present at the important Caribbean event, presenting news in terms of connectivity, tourist activities and hotel and infrastructure investments. 

Antigua and Barbuda will have a new port terminal that will be completed in 2025. And in terms of connectivity, it has direct services to 10 main cities, connecting more than 15 regional airports.

Some of the most important hotel developments in Antigua and Barbuda are:

Hotel rooms currently available 3392. (Over 500 Airbnb, Bed and Breakfast)

The new Royalton Chic opens phase one of the project in the first quarter of 2024 with 230 rooms.
Jolly Beach will restore 350 rooms by December 2023.

Verandah Resort reopens welcomes its adults-only resort, starting November 1, 2023 with 186 rooms.

Hawksbill Resort with 106 rooms will welcome guests as they reopen for business
on November 1, 2023.

Curtain Bluff will reinvest $2.2 million in an extensive renovation of the property to be completed by the season's reopening in October 2023. With remodeling of suites and junior suites and
a newly expanded wellness area.

Tamarind Hills: expanded facilities to include 4 new luxury villas, new Wild Tamarind Restaurant and Beach Club.

Puerta de la Luna: Puerta de la Luna Antigua is a 49-suite all-inclusive boutique hotel and spa coming soon to Half Bahía de la Luna. Expected completion date December 2024 with 40 units ready to be occupied

Nikki Beach: Construction will begin in the fourth quarter of 2024 on the luxury beach club.

Peace, Love and Happiness Resort: 60 luxury homes with a total of 240 rooms in Barbuda by 2024.

Barbuda Cabins - 4 new cabins have been added for a total of 8 Emerald Sands - Opening November - December.
