Accor presented its hotel brands in Argentina

The International Tourism Fair took place from September 30 to October 3 in La Rural, Buenos Aires, and had a large participation of tourism representatives from around the world, including the international hotel company

In the context of this relevant meeting, Travel2latam spoke with Gabriela Spinola, Head of Sales for America: Premium, Medium and Economy Brands of Accor Hotels.

What was presented at FIT 2023?

We present our brands to Hispanic countries, Argentina also has many well-known and not so well-known brands in this region, this is the time to be closer to our partners, reinforcing these brands as well. We also introduced Mário Rosas, who is our new regional sales director who came from the airline and hotel market and now joins us to take responsibility for the entire board of directors from Hispanic countries to Mexico. He is based in Mexico and will be responsible for Mexico, Colombia, Peru, Chile and Argentina.

How are you doing in 2023?

Sales until the first half of the year have grown more than we expected and we continue to grow for the second half of the year and 2023 will be a success. In the world we grew 39% and we are sure that we will close the year with many successes. We are already preparing our 2024 with hotel openings. We launched a loyalty program that builds loyalty in the MICE segment so that professionals also have the same benefits as clients or with points redeemable for experiences. We are launching them in all Hispanic countries and this is great news.

What are the next events you will be at?

We just left Rio de Janeiro at the Abav event, now we are here at FIT, the next event we will be at Festuris Gramado. Then we will be at the WTM in London.
