easyJet holidays, the UK's fastest growing tour operator, has partnered with SiteMinder, the company that owns the platform.
Through this partnership, easyJet holidays is integrated into the SiteMinder platform, so your listed hotels will be able to offer dynamic rates to travelers and make their entire inventory bookable. By selling all their rooms on easyJet holidays, hotels can now optimize their inventory, especially when it is critical to sell the last available rooms at an optimized price.
From now on, hotels that can book through easyJet Holidays - including Palladium Hotel Group and Pestana Hotel Group - can price their rooms on easyJet Holidays based on current travel demand in the country. market, using the distribution capacity of SiteMinder, which handles more than 100 million hotel reservations a year worldwide and is accessible to easyJet Holidays through TravelGateX.
This agreement comes at an opportune time for hotels working with easyJet holidays. Data from SiteMinder shows that hotel bookings in several areas of Europe are above 2019 levels in countries such as the United Kingdom, Spain, Portugal and Italy. In addition, many travelers are making a significant number of reservations at short notice. For hotels in the UK and Spain, just under half (49% and 45% respectively) of all bookings made in the last two weeks are for stays within a month.
"We are delighted to partner with SiteMinder and be able to leverage their market-leading distribution capabilities for the hotels on our list. As hotel bookings surpass 2019 levels, it is important that our hotels are able to benefit from the recovery in demand and implement a smarter, more competitive pricing strategy to ensure they don't lose revenue," said Roy Stratford, Commercial Partnerships Director at easyJet holidays.
"easyJet holidays is a favorite brand across Europe and we are pleased to bring its hotels into the modern era of hotel revenue management, where bookings can be made at any time of the day at prices that should reflect demand, but often don't," said James Bishop, vice president of Ecosystems and Strategic Alliances at SiteMinder.
