Puerto Vallarta, Beach Destination of the Year at the LGBTQ+ Travel Awards 2023

Puerto Vallarta is successfully consolidated during the LGBTQ+ Travel Awards Mexico in the 2023 edition, being awarded in four categories focused on pink tourism, reaffirming its commitment and positioning as the best beach tourist destination for the entire community at a national and international level.

On the night of Wednesday, November 8, the LGBTQ+ Travel Awards Mexico 2023 were held, in which the best in tourism for the group was recognized, bringing together a total of 120 nominated companies from 26 cities, where Puerto Vallarta established itself as one of the main destinations for pink tourism.

The important awards that the green pearl of the Mexican Pacific obtained were:

Beach Destination of the Year – Puerto Vallarta
Hotel Concept of the Year – Almar Resort Luxury LGBT, Puerto Vallarta
Restaurant of the Year – Café Des Artistes, Puerto Vallarta
Partner of the Year – Grand Miramar, Puerto Vallarta

“It is a great honor to receive these prestigious awards from of the Travel Awards Mexico, we are very happy for the great success that Puerto Vallarta has having been awarded in most of the categories in which it was nominated, once again endorsing the work we do for the community by being one of the friendliest cities in the world, which is why pink tourism has consolidated the destination as its favorite,” declared Luis Villaseñor, general director of the Public Trust for Tourism Promotion and Advertising of Puerto Vallarta, during the gala held in the city of Morelia. , Michoacán; who, in the company of businessmen and their President of ACT LGBTQ AC of Puerto Vallarta, Mr. Javier Jiménez, received such distinguished awards.

It is worth mentioning that during the awards, the state of Jalisco was recognized in the categories; Admirable Project of the Year, for the Gay Games and Magical Town of the Year, where Tlaquepaque became the winner.

Once again Puerto Vallarta demonstrates its leadership as a tourist destination for the national LGBTQ+ community, being a segment that chooses it every year to spend an extraordinary vacation in an environment of inclusion and respect that distinguishes this wonderful Jalisco city.
