Travel2latam spoke with Carlos Maso, General Manager of Tabor Group, about the promotion of the company internationally and the services it offers, within the framework of the WTM in London. Tabor Group is currently one of the most operational companies, having different bases in Spanish capitals (Madrid, Barcelona, Malaga and Tenerife).
What does participating in this fair mean to you?
Once again it continues to be an ideal forum to promote the services of our company, road passenger transport, discussion transport to professionals in the sector, travel agencies, DNC, etc.
What is the objective of this exhibition?
The objective, fundamentally, is to meet again with our regular clients, after many years attending the fair and, of course, generate new leads, new contacts with potential clients who are interested, logically, in the service that Tabor Tower Group can offer. , which, as I told you at the time, are all Luxury, VIP services, with a fleet of coaches, from 2 to 87 passengers.
What are the main developments that highlight this participation?
Well, the truth is that what works should not be changed. In principle, after several years of going to this fair, everything remains the same and funny, it is only bad, but quite the opposite. How you describe the current situation of your company and which of the objectives planned at the beginning of the season have been met. Well, fortunately we have met our expectations both economically and commercially in this year 2023, which has been a year of returning to normality, although it has not been completely resumed, but well, it seems that we are on that line. And, as I tell you, the planned growth objectives, both at the fleet level and at the customer and staff level, have been more than met.
How have you been promoting yourself this year and what is your plan for 2024?
We bet a lot on professional forums, networking, professional tourism fairs, because we understand that it is the market niche in which interested professionals really come to look for alternatives or new suppliers. insist that, well, it is a bit of the line of work that we will follow for 2024, we will attend IBTM, among other important events, possibly also ANATO in Colombia, because it is a market in which we obviously want to maximize and offer a quality product. quality for the circuits of your Latin American operators in general and that they know a little first-hand what our services are. It will be a good time to promote, I insist, our services to potential clients located in Latan territory, whether they are operators, travel agencies, broadcasters, DMC, etc.
