More than 4,700 approved buyers from 110 countries attended IBTM's flagship show, which returned to Fira de Barcelona from November 28 to 30. Organizers have confirmed that 60,000 pre-scheduled dates have been made through the matchmaking platform this week, and even more connections are expected to be made spontaneously during the three-day event.

To underline the important role of event professionals in creating culture, IBTM launches its new 'Culture Creators Report' today at 12.30pm. The report, which serves as a global temperature check for the meetings and events industry and was compiled using comprehensive industry surveys and case studies, will be unveiled on the main stage in the form of an insightful panel discussion with representatives from Forbes and Sportradar.
