What is the experience of participating in an event like this? 

For Los Cabos, being able to be present at IBTM in Barcelona is definitely a great opportunity to continue our efforts to promote the destination. Now that we are doing this market diversification, for us the Spanish market is very important and therefore also the European one, because we see that the number of visitors coming to Los Cabos is growing for all that experience they can have of a new destination. in Mexico, this beach destination that has so many experiences by offering so much excellent infrastructure, hotels, great service and all this component of nature, a desert that meets the fabulous Sea of ​​Cortez that has great gastronomy and the cultural part is something we want to share at this event. Coming here is part of a set of initiatives that have been developed during this season to promote ourselves in El Mundo. 

I would like you to give me a conclusion about what you think has happened. 

We are definitely very satisfied with all the promotional actions we have done during 2023. We would like to be able to do more, we are reviewing what else we can integrate into the plan for 2024, but the numbers show us that the number of visitors has increased significantly. we have from the European market, particularly from Spain, as they also arrive through this connection that we have with the new flight, well, it is no longer new that we have since the previous year, already this year the second, but we are happy that we are This flight will be confirmed again in 2024 directly from Madrid to Los Cabos during the summer and we are working on different segments such as Mice here, also for Leisure and special segments.

How is 2024 going for you, what perspectives do you have?

In 2024 we want to continue with the positioning of Los Cabos in the European market, we definitely want to continue with our primary markets, it is something that we always have to take care of, the international market of North America, of course, and the importance of the national market. Latin America has also grown very interesting, so all of this that has been worked on in 2023 and sowing is the continuity of continuing to be present with all these collaborations that we have carried out in the different markets; is to continue working with them, to continue collaborating together. We have definitely seen that working alongside our partners who support us so much in the destination continues to bear fruit. And the city is working hard to renew itself and obtain new features.

Tell us a little about that news.

We are very happy because Los Cabos has been growing continuously and yet there is always something new, it continues to grow, 6 more openings are coming by 2024, much in the luxury segment. We expect new hotels that definitely continue to position Los Cabos as one of the best beach destinations internationally, with very relevant brands that definitely also show the confidence of investors in the city, which is working hard to renew itself and to always show new developments. Los Cabos is a very safe destination that rewards you a lot, offering various experiences. And we will not only have restaurant openings but also international events.
