Incoming tourism in Argentina in November sets a new record

We are convinced that the sector has a lot of potential to continue promoting the growth of Argentina,” said the Minister of Tourism and Sports of the Nation, Matías Lammens.

Additionally, during the month of November, the seven Argentine restaurants awarded with Michelin stars were announced, within the framework of the arrival of the emblematic guide for the first time in a Hispanic Latin American country.

As a result of these figures, tourism led the increase in employment registered in Argentina: it accumulated an increase of 13% in the year. At the level of international tourists, Uruguay (21.5%), Brazil (19.2%), Chile (18.6%), United States (7.4%), Paraguay (7.3%), Bolivia (3 .2%), Spain (2.6%), Peru (2.6%), Colombia (1.9%) and France (1.6%) topped the ranking of arrivals to the country in the first 11 months of the year .

The most used border crossings were the Ezeiza Airport (20.8%), the Jorge Newbery Airport (12.9%), the Buenos Aires Port (11.6%), the Gualeguaychú-Fray Bentos Pass (8%), the Tancredo Neves International Bridge (6.7%) and the Cardenal Samoré Pass (4.2%).
