Renewing energy on the beach must be among the wonders of the world. That is why the Chilean government launched “The Best Fiesta in Chile”, a proposal of events to say goodbye to the year 2023 and welcome 2024 optimally. With street interventions, various musicians and the return of the traditional fireworks show, Valparaíso prepares everything to receive to a hundred Argentines.
Since 2020, this famous festival was suspended and the authorities considered it appropriate to resume this initiative, between the 26th and 31st of this month.
“We are very happy for the return of this celebration, a tradition that invites all tourists to welcome this New Year with a wonderful spectacle off the Chilean coast. The invitation is to discover the wide tourist offer that the city has for visitors, ranging from cultural shows, the best gastronomy of the sea
and a bohemia that make Valparaíso an ideal destination for all types of tourists and visitors,” said Verónica Pardo, Undersecretary of Tourism of Chile.
On the 26th and 28th there will be “La previa al 100”, three days of pure music with more than 30 bands in different Buenos Aires venues. On Thursday the 28th you can have fun on the so-called “Dock Day”. Friday the 29th, day reserved for “The Family” with a mega stage in the Plaza Central Sotomayor. “The day of the port” is for the organization of Saturday the 30th, ending the schedule on Sunday at midnight with the welcome of the new year.
In turn, the organizers provided a “Valpoal100 Card” that includes different discounts, promotions and even free trips on public transportation during the summer for residents and tourists.
They expect a large confluence of Argentines who will take advantage of the air offers to experience a different end of the year in the unique port city of Valparaíso.
