Puerto Vallarta Airport inaugurates route to Las Vegas

The green pearl of the Mexican Pacific connects with the North American market with more than 40 direct air routes from the city's International Airport

The Puerto Vallarta International Airport continues to grow in international connections, through a new route to Las Vegas operated by Alaska Airlines.

The director of the Airport, Cryshtian Amador Lizardi, celebrated the opening of this connection: “This route is of great relevance for our region, as it allows us to create a bridge with this important American tourist destination and represents another incentive for the growth of our air traffic. passengers, which so far this year has increased by 10% compared to the same period in 2022.”

“We are more than excited with this new direct flight that connects Las Vegas with the Airport that also serves the Riviera Nayarit area and the state of Nayarit in general,” said Juan Enrique Suárez del Real Tostado, Secretary of Tourism for the state of Nayarit. “Nayarit is Mexico's luxury destination, as well as a privileged place both to enjoy a good vacation and to hold meetings and events. So we invite locals and visitors to this great city to visit our wonderful coasts and, in true Las Vegas style, go from gambling to enjoying our beaches, our outdoor adventures, our exquisite gastronomy and the mystique of our towns. “Magical, we know that our tourist offer will be an option that you cannot miss.”

The new route will be operated with an Embraer E175 equipment managed with a capacity of 76 passengers and will have a duration of 3 hours 30 minutes. In addition, it will have 4 frequencies a week; Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays and an average capacity of 1,216 monthly seats.
