For just over a week, Duhau Restaurante & Vinoteca and Gioia Cocina Botánica have been mentioned in the first Michelin Guide Buenos Aires Mendoza. Both are among the 57 recognized restaurants in Argentina, positioning our property as the only hotel in the country to have two restaurants among those recommended.

Two opposing concepts, two marked identities that come together in a single purpose: to provide exceptional gastronomy to those who visit Palacio Duhau – Park Hyatt Buenos Aires.

Hotel Chef Matías Roaux and Pastry Chef Paula Maroni lead and are part of teams that with effort and passion have managed to position our restaurants at the top of gastronomy. 

Currently run by Franco Rossi, Duhau Restaurante & Vinoteca opened its doors in 2006, the year the hotel opened. Since then, the signature Argentine cuisine of our emblematic restaurant has been consistent in its proposal, offering the best cuts of meat in Argentina, in addition to treasuring the Palace's best kept secret: its artisanal cheese cellar. The wine selection, by Florencia Scilino and Mariana Aguirre, covers all the wine-growing regions of the country and the world to bring the best labels to those who visit Duhau Restaurante.

Previously known as the hotel's Italian restaurant, Gioia reopened in 2021 with a disruptive concept for a five-star luxury hotel in Argentina: plant-based cuisine. Led by Chef Juan Simonte, Gioia Cocina Botánica honors every day its commitment to offering haute cuisine based on products of non-animal origin. In just two years, Juan and his team have managed to position Gioia in the city's gastronomic scene with a proposal that combines surprising flavors and innovative techniques.

Palacio Duhau – Park Hyatt Buenos Aires opens the doors of its three restaurants and its exceptional terraces for a fantastic Christmas Eve celebration. On December 24, every corner of the hotel lights up to offer a gala dinner paired with wines from Bodega Salentein. The hotel Chef Matías Rouaux, the Pastry Chef Paula Maroni and their teams create a menu of steps and an unparalleled table of Christmas sweets that will be the delight of the guests. The evening is completed with live Christmas carols that will anticipate Santa's arrival at midnight.

December 25th

Duhau Restaurante & Vinoteca, the restaurant selected by the Michelin Guide 2024 among the 57 recommended in Buenos Aires, will offer a Christmas Brunch. Antipasti buffet, Premium meat cuts station and grilled fishing, dessert buffet and wines from Bodega Salentein will be part of the menu to enjoy this special date.

A very special closing of the year, a themed evening to say goodbye to 2022 in the most beautiful garden in the city. A gala dinner of steps, created especially by our Chefs, accompanied by DV Catena wines, cocktails, show and live DJ and surprises during the night.

January 1st

The celebrations continue with a Brunch designed to enjoy the first lunch of the year at Duhau Restaurant & Vinoteca. As on December 25, the proposal includes an antipasti buffet, Premium meat cuts station and grilled fishing, dessert buffet and DV Catena wines.

Duhau Pastry

Pastry Chef Paula Maroni and her team thought of a collection with more than 30 delicious options to enjoy Christmas with the unmatched touch of Duhau Pâtisserie.
The classics return this season: Stollen (with polished fruits and marzipan or with chocolate and Nutella), panettone, nougat (peanuts with semi-bitter chocolate or chocolate coating, hazelnuts and puffed quinoa) or nougat with pistachios, almonds and cranberries.
Among the desserts we find pavlova, the traditional Boûche de Noël and fruit tarts of cherries, raspberries, blackberries and strawberries, which will bring freshness to Christmas.

Chocolate fans will be able to choose between a Christmas tree figure made of 100% pure cocoa, the already famous chocolates and truffles and also candies.
Those looking for options to share with family can opt for some of the Boxes specially designed for the occasion.

The Rudolph Box has a value of ARS 60,000 and includes 1 fruit cake, 1 box of 6 macarons, candies and a bottle of Baron B Brut Rosé. The Box Noël, with a value of ARS 68,000, includes 1 stollen, 1 chocolate pine figure, 1 nougat, 1 box of 6 macarons, and 1 bottle of Baron B Brut Rosé. Finally, the most complete version is the Box Palacio Duhau. With a value of ARS 75,000, this Christmas box includes 1 Panettone, 1 box of 12 truffles, 1 nougat, candies, gingerbread cookies and a bottle of Baron B Brut Rosé.
