With this order, which is added to the deliveries planned in the coming years, the number of Boeing 787 aircraft operated by the LATAM group will reach 46, which implies an increase of 20 aircraft of this model compared to what was operated before the pandemic. Additionally, the LATAM group has decided to equip the next deliveries of Boeing 787 that it receives with GEnx engines from GE Aerospace, becoming the first airline in South America to have these engines known for their high performance and efficiency.
