Avianca announced that starting March 31 it will land for the first time at Montreal's Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport in Canada, after announcing today the launch of the new Bogotá - Montreal - Bogotá route.

The airline will operate four frequencies a week on A320 aircraft with capacity for 180 customers, with a total offer of 1,200 weekly seats available.

Colombia and Canada, now closer via Montreal:

“We arrived in Canada a little more than two years ago with our operation to Toronto and today we are very happy to announce the landing of Avianca in Montreal since the end of March as its second destination in that country. It is estimated that more than 120,000 Colombians live in Canada today and more than 20,000 Canadian residents visit Colombia each year, so without a doubt this route will help connect more tourists, more students and more businesses between the two countries,” said David Alemán. , Avianca Sales Director for Colombia and South America.

"With these new connections, El Dorado establishes itself as one of the most important airports in Latin America and continues to expand its points of contact with the world. From now on, we welcome travelers who will take advantage of this new route and we are committed to providing them with unique and memorable experience while passing through our air terminal". Said Natalí Leal, General Manager of Opain.

Tickets are now available for sale in the mobile application, the website, physical points of sale or through travel agencies.
