Marriott International promotes high-growth markets in Mexico with Aimbridge Hospitality

The companies are pleased to boost tourism in the Mexican market with the signing of three exclusive hotels under the brands Aloft Hotels and Sheraton Hotels & Resorts in Guadalajara, as well as Delta Hotels & Resorts in Puebla

Marriott International today announced expansion in very important markets in Mexico with the signing of three agreements to bring the Aloft Hotels and Sheraton Hotels & Resorts brands to Guadalajara, as well as Delta Hotels & Resorts to Puebla. With these agreements, the company reinforces its commitment to strategic expansion in high-growth markets, which continue to boom for local and international tourism. The properties, which are currently operating and undergoing conversion, will be opening under the Marriott International brands in 2024.

Located in the financial area of ​​Providencia, near mixed developments, restaurants, and entertainment centers, Aloft Guadalajara Country Club will add to the current portfolio of six Aloft Hotels properties in the country, and will be the brand's second property in Guadalajara. The hotel has 142 rooms, as well as a restaurant and bar, and multiple options for groups and business travelers with an events room and various meeting spaces. Maintaining the Aloft brand promise of offering an urban hotel with the best of the social scene, travelers and residents will be able to enjoy the brand's various flagship amenities such as its RE:Charge fitness center, and the best lodging option for guests of four legs with ARF, the brand's pet-friendly program.

Guadalajara will also welcome the first Sheraton Hotels & Resorts brand hotel in the destination, and fourth in Mexico, with Sheraton Guadalajara Expo, which has 216 rooms and is ideal for travelers seeking the brand's modern sophistication and a Privileged location for business or leisure stays due to its proximity to Expo Guadalajara, one of the most important convention centers in the country. The hotel offers the brand's unique wellness programming such as Sheraton Signature Sleep Experience and MAYAHUEL Spa, as well as different business centers and the Sheraton Club Lounge that adds to the various food and beverage centers for groups and businesses.

Guadalajara has positioned itself as one of the main business and financial centers in the country, being the second largest metropolitan area in Mexico by population. Currently, Marriott International has ten hotels in the destination under six brands such as AC Hotels, Aloft Hotels, City Express by Marriott, JW Marriott Hotels and Westin Hotels, as well as five projects in development in the medium to long term.

As part of the company's expansion plans, it will also welcome Delta Hotels & Resorts' second property in Mexico with Delta Hotels Puebla Mexico. This hotel offers 154 rooms and a privileged location on one of the most important avenues in Puebla, with close proximity to the industrial district of Puebla FINSA, as well as all the cultural and entertainment options in the state. Ideal for travelers who want to maximize their business or leisure trip in Puebla, the hotel has a restaurant and bar, as well as 500 square meters of event space.
