Carlos Mesa, senior vice president of consumer experience, explained that this initiative arose with the objective of creating alliances with Dominican entrepreneurs who use typical local foods, and thus highlight native products that represent the flavor and color of the Dominican Republic.

“Being an airline founded by a Dominican entrepreneur, like Víctor Pacheco, at Arajet we are pleased to promote entrepreneurs; We want to ensure that the products that represent Dominicanness are known and consumed throughout the continent, and thus we contribute to the development and growth of different sectors of the national economy,” said Mesa.

During the month of February, the airline made an agreement with the micro-business Fit Appetit to offer, in its product catalog, brownies and oatmeal cookies, thus promoting healthy foods made with natural elements native to the Dominican Republic.

Likewise, they reported that Chinola Liqueur, Salami chips with bananas, nuts and mixed fruits, Candela premium Mamajuana, Coconut Turrón, Batata chips, República beer among others are available.

In this way, the Dominican products that are being offered on board Arajet flights are available on the 22 routes that the airline offers throughout the continent, connecting Santo Domingo with North, Central, South America and the Caribbean.
