In recent years, the Bleisure tourism trend has been reinforced, which combines business with leisure. People want to maximize the time they have at the event to discover new destinations.

This segment is supported by a complementary offer that highlights gastronomy, culture and fun. This makes it easier for attendees to have a wide variety of activities and experiences to add to their meeting programs or corporate events.

“Our proximity to the Historic Center, pool complex, direct access to the beach, restaurant and bars, meeting rooms, executive lounge, children's playroom, and large inventory of queen rooms, are some of the reasons why the “Guests can have a leisure experience while traveling for work, events or with
family,” says Jairo Manzur, director of sales and marketing at Hilton Cartagena.

According to the International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA), Cartagena has positioned itself as one of the places in Latin America with the greatest potential for meeting tourism (27% of the country's total international events are held and the 33% of attendees are foreigners). In addition, it has four convention centers and nearly 80 rooms for events.

“Hilton Cartagena has the infrastructure to offer several plans in the same place. We have an integrated convention center, which receives up to 2,300 people in an auditorium, spaces for outdoor events, and facilities for groups from the personalized service of our team members,” says Manzur.
