Punta del Este Film Festival premieres complete program of its 26th edition

The Punta del Este International Film Festival, which runs from February 23 to 29, officially announced the complete program of its 26th edition. The screenings will take place in four rooms and admission is free for all of them. In addition, question and answer sessions (questions and answers) will also be held immediately after the screening of the films in competition. The directors, producers and actors of each production answer questions from the press and the general public. 

The Brazilian film “Pérola” participates in the opening ceremony in an out-of-competition screening , on the 23rd, starting at 8 p.m., with the presence of the director Murilo Benício and the actress Drica Moraes. 

With the screening of Uruguayan fiction and documentary feature films and international productions, the event also pays tribute to the renowned filmmaker of the Porto Alegre Film House, Jorge Furtado.
