FEDOMBAL and Arajet agreed that the Dominican airline will be the official airline of the Senior National Team, which this year has other commitments in Canada and Central America, destinations to which Arajet flies.
The team departed from Las Américas International Airport in comfortable and modern Arajet aircraft.
Victor Pacheco Méndez, CEO & Founder of Arajet, expressed that for the airline it is important to be able to collaborate with this type of person who, through sports, exalts and elevates the country on the continent.
“For Arajet it is an honor to be able to support the National Basketball Team in its objective of participating in this competition where our valuable athletes are going to put the name of the Dominican Republic in high praise,” said Pacheco Méndez.
Rafael Uribe, president of the Dominican Basketball Federation, expressed his gratitude for the support provided by the airline to achieve this flight and urged private sector companies to collaborate to develop the best of the sport in the country.
The team left Las Américas International Airport and is made up of Andrés Félix, Ángel Luis Delgado, Eloy Vargas, Gelvis Solano, Jassel Pérez, Jean Montero, Jonathan Araújo, Juan Guerrero, Juan Miguel Suero, Luis Santos, Omar Silverio and Víctor Liz .
Along with the Dominican Republic and Mexico, the teams from Canada and Nicaragua complete Group C of the AmeriCup 2025 qualifiers.
