Arajet, the low-price airline, announced during the Anato 2024 tourism fair that they will increase frequencies from Santo Domingo to Medellín, Bogotá and Cartagena to boost connectivity between these cities.

Manuel Luna, Chief Communication and External Affairs Officer of Arajet, indicated that the airline during 2023 has directly impacted the growth of visitor arrivals from Colombia. “Arajet is committed to supporting initiatives that promote the growth of the tourism sector, for this reason, today we announce that we are increasing flights to these cities to continue betting on connectivity as an important factor for the development of the tourism industry,” said Luna.

He explained that in March it will be flying to Medellín Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday, making 1,838 seats available and in April it will be offering daily flights with 2,590 seats, which represents a 29% increase in operations to this city.

Likewise, he stated that he will be increasing operations in Bogotá by 21%, offering flights Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday with 1,504 seats available and in April they will have flights Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday with 1,899 seats.

The Cartagena destination will also grow by 12% with flights on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays with more than 1,587 seats, and in April it will also be flying on Sundays to increase the number of frequencies to this city.
