In the summer of 2024, vacationers will be able to celebrate the best weekend in the best possible way. Royal Caribbean International has revealed the ultimate 3-night weekend and 4-night midweek getaway, Utopia of the Seas. As the newest first ship in the Oasis Class offering short breaks when it debuts, the next big thing in vacation sets the perfect stage for making more memories than ever on a short trip.
Utopia will begin sailing in July 2024 from Port Canaveral (Orlando), Florida, with an unmatched combination of weekend energy with more than 40 bars and restaurants , more pools than days to enjoy them, alternatives to experience strong emotions and to relax, and even more on Perfect Day at CocoCay, Royal Caribbean's private island in the Bahamas – including Hideaway Beach, the new adults-only beach opening in early 2024.
The flagship adventures of the newest Oasis Class ship will debut with short getaways offering both new and reinvented experiences, such as a new Caribbean tiki bar, a one-of-a-kind immersive dining experience, the newest, best – and most long – of the sea; newly designed resort-style pools, and much more. Each person can create their own weekend energy with their selection of different types of pools and beaches, flavors from around the world, nightlife and entertainment. Pool days for any mood Whether spending the day at the pool or on the beach, both can be done in the best getaway. Complete with the pools and white sand beaches of Perfect Day at CocoCay, the vibes at Utopia's five pools range from lively to calm.
Resort-style pools and incline pools with beach entry – Three pools and three Lime & Coconut bars are located in the center of the action. The ultimate in 3- and 4-night getaways will also make headlines when it debuts in July 2024 as the first Oasis Class ship powered by liquefied natural gas (LNG), the cleanest marine fuel. Utopia, later Icon of the Seas, will be the cruise line's second ship powered by LNG and will mark a new step forward in Royal Caribbean's decades-long commitment to the environment, combining LNG technology with other environmentally friendly initiatives such as connection to the shore-based electrical grid and waste heat recovery systems.
