The event was held at the Panama Convention Center, and had the participation of more than 700 companies from more than 30 countries in Europe, North America, Central America and South America.
Expoturismo also served as a stage to present 5 innovative tourist experiences; Among them are three of the four finalists and the winner of the Innovative Community Tourism Experiences contest, a contest carried out by the Tourism Authority of Panama and the World Tourism Organization.
The objective of this initiative is to promote sustainable tourism experiences that highlight the natural and cultural heritage of Panama, as well as the authenticity of its local communities, improving the quality of life of its residents and preserving the nature and culture of Panama.
